Associate Product Analyst

Purpose

As an Associate Product Analyst at Confluence, you will utilize Confluence's internal tools and resources to define and configure regulatory disclosures for both new and existing clients. You will work closely with business and technology teams to define and build against requirements and verify that the functionality meets those requirements. An Associate Product Analyst will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Accountable and responsible for delivering solutions according to line of business and corporate growth goals
  • Collect requirements from internal and external sources and translate them into regulatory solutions
  • Provide guidance to ensure product/regulatory requirements are aligned to the strategic model and roadmap
  • Anticipate business needs, monitor regulatory landscape, and determine impact of regulatory change on systems and clients
  • Create solution design specifications and documentation
  • Configure solutions using internal tools and resources
  • Create and execute test cases/scripts with example data to validate new and existing functionalities
  • Write supporting documentation and train users on existing and new solutions
  • Provide support to implementation teams and clients where needed

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and essential skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent required
  • Up to three or more years of relevant experience; fund accounting/investment services industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Ability to meet crucial deadlines
  • Ability to learn independently and work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High creativity with the ability to solve complex business problems
  • Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to analyze problems and identify resolutions at a strategic and functional level
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide audience, from technical staff to management, clients and coworkers
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multitask, strong attention to detail and thoroughness, self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative, excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and articulate opportunities for improvement
  • Familiarity with database operations, SQL scripting; NoSQL experience preferred
  • Escalate issues appropriately to the next level
  • Work well with others as individual contributor
