Business Process Outsourcing Consultant

The BPO Intermediate Consultant level is a highly motivated, self-managing, collaborative individual who is able execute in a fast-paced environment and drive BPO services to completion.  The BPO Consultants is an important role in the management of Confluence’s BPO services.  By completing high-level tasks and assisting clients through complex problems, the BPO Consultant assures that specific tasks essential to our client’s business reporting requirements.  Primary focus will be to use your expert business knowledge in the service provision of GIPS & Performance solutions for Asset Managers, with a particular focus on assisting our clients achieve and maintain GIPS compliance. 
Essential Responsibilities

  • Suggest improvement for internal process and procedures documentation
  • Update process and procedures documentation
  • Manage time efficiently to assure tasks are completed on-time and efficiently 
  • Participate and/or lead weekly client meetings
  • Participate and/or lead in testing new features and functionality associated with BPO clients
  • Participates and/or lead internal improvement initiatives
  • Utilizes problem solving skills to execute BPO service solutions globally
  • Mentor and assist in the training and hiring of BPO Associate Consultants
  • Validates client change request completed by BPO Associate Consultants
  • Manage deliverable deadlines across multiple clients
  • Communicate and present service solutions to clients in a professional manner
  • Compile client monthly KPI reporting
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology or equivalent experience required.
  • MBA Preferred
  • Four or more years of GIPS Compliance, Investment Management, Fund Accounting, Financial/Investment Services Industry experience required.

  • Knowledge of Performance Measurement and Attribution
  • GIPS Compliance Composite/Account Reporting Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of StatPro, Performa, BISAM, Eagle, Sylvan, Caps, Sungard Xamin, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent time management skills required
  • Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount
  • SQL experience required
  • VBScript experience preferred
  • Crystal Report experience preferred
  • Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide audience, from technical staff to management, clients and coworkers
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to provide and pass background checks, credit checks, drug screens and/or fingerprinting
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and on holidays
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours
  • Ability to travel
